October 19-24 and Fall Break

Region Championships this last week was a rough day weather wise, but our young team competed hard overall.  We ended up 3rd place with both Varsity teams and 2nd with both JV teams, so a solid showing for the Sentinels.  Ty Patterson (4th) and Noah Knight (10) were first team All-Region for the Boys.  Savanah Haynie (4th), Lucy Sayre (7th), and Brielle Leavitt (9th) were first team All-Region for the Girls.  Ashlynn Anderson was the JV Girls Region Champ.

Cool Nerd Report has been updated

The State Championships are next Tuesday October 27th, with 6A Girls racing at 11:00 a.m. and 6A Boys racing at 11:45 a.m. State Info

We know it is Fall Break for Jordan District and lots of families are leaving town, but here is another reminder that we still have practice (especially for our top 9 girls and 9 boys).  The rest of the State does not usually care about Jordan District's Fall Break and these teams are training and preparing for State next week.  If you are leaving town, please communicate with the Coaching Staff and make sure you are still training.

Thanks to Heintz/Quistberg, Sayre, Wilding, and Leavitt families for hosting our dinner last week.  Thanks to the parents who brought after race treats for the athletes on Tuesday at the Region Championships! And we especially thank those who came to support and cheer on the athletes at Region!

We would highly encourage JV athletes to compete at JV State in Spanish Fork on Saturday October 31st, even though this is post season and will be on your own.  More info to follow next week on this.
