XC Camp will be at Wasatch Academy again this year August 3-5, 2026. Cost will be $220 if we have around 35 athletes attend. Cost will include transportation, Dorm housing, all meals, activities, and a camp t-shirt. We will need some solid commitments several weeks before camp, because we will need to reserve and purchase T-shirts, a Bus, Dorm Rooms, and District Insurance. Once you have committed to camp, if something happens and you are not able to attend, you will need to get someone to take your spot or you will be charged a partial fee of $50-$110 (depending on what is refunded to the school). Once we pay for certain things and figure in that money to the cost, it cannot be refunded.
Ultimately we would like the entire team to attend camp, and might make it mandatory in the future. Camp is a great opportunity to spend 3 days with the team, get some great training, build better relationships, have more 1 on 1 time with coaches, and learn skills that can help you be a better athlete. We also do a lot of cool runs and have a a lot of fun. We encourage everyone to make camp a priority!
Camp Paperwork will include a notarized Medical Form with copy of Insurance Card, and a Parent Approval Form. These forms should be given to Coach Barnes no later than July 29.
