September 29-October 4

This week we start 2 solid weeks of training an before the Region Championships on October 15.  The focus should be to get or stay healthy, and get fast.  Workouts should be a priority!

We have still had a lot of athletes getting sick and some nagging and annoying injuries that we need to get under wraps.  Please take care of your bodies and make sure you are doing your best not to get sick and not to pass it to others on the team.

Athletes and Parents, please remember that practices are never optional!  You should be at practice everyday and be as ready as possible to to train.  We will definitely make some future adjustment to ensure that athletes are dedicated and at practice consistently. 

Thanks to the Carter, Jarrett, Turnbow, and Knight families for hosting last week's dinner, and all who attended.  Thanks to all those who brought or sent after race treats for the team, as well as those who made it to cheer and support at the meet last Friday.

If you haven't filled this out, please do so ASAP.  This is for those interested in going to Brooks XC Championships in California December 4-7, please fill out this form HERE. (This trip is contingent on how we place at Region and if we go to State and do well.)  We would love to fill a bus and take the majority of the team down for this race if possible.  We are seeing if we have enough athletes willing and able to go and if this something we want to pursue as a team.

Thursday Butterfield Regional Park Trailhead @ 3:25 p.m.

Friday - TBA @ 7:30 a.m.

Saturday - TBA @ 7:30 a.m.
