June 30-July 5

This week is the UHSAA Moratorium where no sports are allowed to hold practices.  You should still be training on your own at this time and putting in some good mileage.

Please get your mileage reported ASAP, if you haven't already done so.  This should have been done first thing after your last run! 

We are still missing some athletes on the team groupme, so please add those who aren't on yet.  The team groupme is not for parents, only athletes.

Sentinel XC Team Camp will be August 4-6.  More details to follow, but we will be traveling by bus and staying in dorms in Central Utah.  It will be an awesome camp again! HERE is the link, please answer if you are planning on going or not.  

Some of you are roller coastering your mileage and this will either get you behind, or beat you up and get you injured.  6 weeks left of the summer and some of you are already in mileage debt.  Consistency is the key!  Returners should be hitting 6 days a week and rookies 5 days, every week, regardless of if you are at practice or on some vacation.  Don't slack during moratorium! 

Also, we need to make sure we are taking good care of our bodies so we don't get beat up (drinking plenty of water, stretching, rolling out, getting enough sleep, eating healthy, eating enough, etc..).  If you are having any issues please talk to the coaches so we can help you before it turns into something bigger.

Friday - Happy Independence Day!  Race if possible.
