State Championships will be held on Wednesday this week at Sugarhouse Park
Our Boys will race at 12:00 p.m. and our Girls at 12:30 p.m..
The bus will leave the HS at 9:50 a.m.. Coach Barnes will cover entrance fees for those who have been running and coming to practice regularly and who are able to come. Remember, that the priority is to come and support our competing varsity runners, not just to socialize. Please come ready to cheer and wear your Sentinel gear. It looks like it will be chilly fall weather, so dress appropriately. If you are wanting to come, please let Coach Barnes know at practice Monday or by Tuesday morning.
Spectator info will be posted at the bottom of this post.
We will have a team dinner on Tuesday for State participants and JV runners at 6:00 p.m., (6869 W. Vista Springs Dr). Athletes can bring $2 to contribute. Dinner is hosted by the Hall, Andersen, Bracken, D' Orlando families, and Marcus' mom.
There is a JV State Championship that is being held on Saturday November 2 at the Spanish Fork Sports Complex. If those alternates and others who have been training would like to run at this let Coach Barnes know by Tuesday, if you haven't already, so he can get registration and entry fees taken care of. We will not be taking a bus, so transportation is on your own.

RV’s and other oversize vehicles will be charged at $40, due to the use of multiple parking spots. Vehicles will be issued wristbands at the entrance gates for the corresponding numbers of individuals inside the vehicle. Parking passes can be purchased on the UHSAA GoFan online ticket portal at https://gofan.co/app/school/UHSAA . A convenience credit card fee will be charged as part of the purchase. There will be no cash option for purchase. It is advised for everyone to prepurchase parking passes to allow for faster parking and entrance into the facility.
Individuals who hold UHSAA Annual Passes will show the pass at the parking lot entry gate to receive wristbands for them and another individual.
Patrons and teams are encouraged to leave after their respective awards ceremonies to allow more parking for patrons and team busses. There will be a parking attendant at the exit gate to ensure people do not enter the facility through an alternate route.
Schools who are planning on bringing student support busses will drop off students in the team parking entry and will be charged $5 per student who enters through the gate. UHSAA personnel will provide entry wristbands for these individuals.
