Monday night will be Time Trials at Mountain Ridge Stadium. Please be there by 7:45pm. We would like you to make it your family night and invite the whole family to come and watch. Note that this is for athletes and families and we would appreciate athletes from other schools to not attend or be invited.
We want to start at 8:00pm. We will introduce the first year team, captains, and coaches. While the teams are getting ready we will have a parent meeting in the stands to cover last minute items of business. Girls will race appox 8:40pm and Boys at approx 9:05pm. This will be a 2 mile (8 lap) time trial on the track under the lights. We would like you to bring a dessert to share (healthier options of fruit etc. are always welcome). We will try to not put dessert items out until the end of the races so that younger siblings aren't tempted so much. Athletes should make sure they eat a decent nutritious dinner before coming, with plenty of time to digest before their race. This is a good time to break in the race spikes, but bring trainers to warm up and cool down in.
Thanks to all of those who have finished the Eligibility requirements. There are still a few of you that have not finished that need to do so ASAP so that you are cleared to compete this week. Please take care of this!
Coach Barnes will have Uniforms available to pick up on Monday in his room at Mountain Ridge from 12:45pm - 2:00pm. Room 2124 across from the Media Center upstairs. Please bring your receipt or a picture or your receipt.
Spirit Pack items are available to purchase again until August 14 not September 14. HERE is the link. The long sleeve shirts run a bit large, so you might consider sizing down a size depending on how you like the fit.
Those that missed Spike Night at Run Gr8 on Thursday are still welcome to the team discounts for spikes and trainers, just let them know who you are when you go into the store.
