Sanpete Classic last week was an up and down meet for us, and it wasn't just the course. Some athletes ran very well, but the majority seemed unfocused and struggled a lot. It is time to refocus and prepare for Friday.
This week we will head to the TwiKnight Invite at Art Dye Park in American Fork on Friday. This is scheduled to be our last meet before the Region Championships on October 8.
Also, a lot of illness has been floating around and has hit the team pretty hard. Please take care of your bodies and make sure you are doing your best not to get sick and not to pass it to others on the team.
Thanks to the the Ballard, Bytheway, Stoddart, and Jarrett families for hosting last week's dinner. Thanks to all those who brought or sent after race treats for the team, as well as those who made the drive to cheer and support at the meet in Fairview.
We will have a Team Dinner on Thursday at 6:00 p.m., hosted by the Haynie, Sayre, Peterson, and Belcher families, (14402 S. Herriman View Way). Athletes are encouraged to bring a couple of dollars to contribute.
Those interested in going to Foot Locker/Hoka in California December 5-8, please fill out this form HERE. (This trip is contingent on how we place at Region and if we go to State and do well.)

6:00 - Varsity Girls
6:30 - Varsity Boys
Saturday - Monarch Meadows Park @ 7:30 a.m.
