June 19-24

Please get your mileage reported ASAP!  This should have been done already.

The team store is up until the end of the month if you want gear. HERE is the link.  The orders will be processed once the store closes.

Now that we have a couple weeks under our belts it is time to get busy.  Rookies, who are at practice most of the time will have no problem getting miles.  Returners will need to step it up a bit though, because if you have averaged 12 miles a week and you should be getting 28-30, you are already 36 miles behind where you should be, so don't let it slip any further or you will have a hard time making that up or getting caught up.  Remember that we are striving for consistency whether at home or at play.

Also, we need to make sure we are taking good care of our bodies so we don't get beat up (drinking plenty of water, stretching, rolling out, getting enough sleep, eating healthy, eating enough, etc..).  If you are having any issues please talk to the coaches so we can help you before it turns into something bigger.

Sentinel XC Team Camp will be July 25-27.  More details to follow, but we will be traveling by bus and staying in dorms in Central Utah.  It will be an awesome camp again!  HERE is the link, please answer if you are planning on going or not.

Schedule

Monday - Butterfield Park @ 7:00 a.m.

Tuesday - MRHS @ 7:00 a.m.

Thursday - MRHS @ 7:00 a.m.

Friday - Mouth of Yellow Fork Canyon @ 7:10 a.m.

We would highly encourage you all to start running road races this summer when you get a chance, 5ks and even 10ks are great, no half marathons.   Get on Utah Running or Runnercard or just search for races in different areas.  Most towns will do a 5k or some race with their celebrations.
