It was a bummer to not have parents and spectators at Region last week. The athletes competed hard and all of the them showed improvement, some huge improvement, from the start of the season. Check out the "Cool Nerd Report" to compare how much the athletes improved. We have a great young team and it was fun for the coaches to see such improvement over the course of the season. Congrats to all of those who PR'd! Both varsity boys and Girls ended up 4th place, JV boys 2nd, and JV girls 5th.
Thanks to Curtis Waite for being willing to live-stream the races out to our parents and families who were not able to be at the race due to current mandates.
This week is Divisionals, this is how we get to State this year. We are slated for Division B which will race girls at 1:30 p.m. and boys at 2:30 p.m. at Lakeside Park in Orem. This is only top 7 of each racing. Top 10 teams in each division go to State. We are not sure if the whole team will be allowed or just runners and alternates? Spectators are a ??? as well.
