August 19-24

Congrats to our Run Gr8 Runners of the Week.  Sam and Savanah are both rookies and 9th graders and have been great examples of young athletes, showing dedication, communication, great effort, and great performances.

We had a good start to the season for our young team this past week.  It was fun to get to see you all race, and it will be more fun to see you improve throughout the season.  We have a lot of work to do, but we started off well.  This week we have two meets again, Park City Twilight on Thursday evening at Quins Junction Athletic Complex and the UIAAA Invite at Spanish Fork Sports Complex on Saturday morning.

With school starting you will need to manage time, sleep, and nutrition well.  Be aware of this and do your best, so that you can come to practice each day prepared and have a good experience in our competitions as well.  9th graders, please get to practice ASAP, since we are holding it 30 minutes later mostly for you to attend.

We appreciate the Lewis, Tarr, and Jeffs families for hosting our team dinner last week, and all who attended.  We also appreciate all of the those who brought after race treats for the team both races, as well as those who came to cheer and support.

We will have a Team Dinner hosted by the Burgess, Anderson, Schmidt, Lund families on Wednesday night at 6:00pm at 13627 Morning Cloak Way (Morning Cloak Park).  Athletes are encouraged to bring a couple of dollars to contribute.

Thursday - Park City Twilight Meet @ Quins Junction Athletic Complex.  Buses will leave the HS at 3:50 p.m.
