Congrats to our Run Gr8 Runners of the Week!

We had a tough hot week last week for the most part, but it ended up being a good racing week for us regardless.  The Juab Invite was a good showing all the way around, dominating the JV boys, winning JV girls, and being in the mix to win both varsity races (with our JV girls running varsity that day).  Even though the course was a bit short, it was good to see how far we have come with our young team in two weeks.  

Our varsity girls won the Park City Invite on Friday in a nail biter with Corner Canyon, (who had beaten us quite handily on the same course 3 weeks earlier). The girls pulled off a 1 point victory over a team that probably has more depth than any other in the state.  It was a fun meet!  

Congrats to all those who ran so well this past week!  

This week is another busy week for us with two meets, Pre-State on Wednesday and Border Wars on Saturday, topped off with Home Coming.  Wednesday we will leave for Salt Lake Regional Athletic Complex (Rose Park Sports Complex) at 10:20 a.m..  Athletes will be checked out of school, high schoolers 30 minutes before and 9th graders 45 minutes before.  Please talk to your teachers about missing classes prior to Wednesday so you can get your work taken care of.  This meet is charging an entrance fee for spectators and parking, please see the following links for this info HERE or HERE.

Saturday we will leave at 7:30 a.m. for Juniors, Seniors, and Varsity.  Sophomores and Freshmen need to be at the school at 10:00 a.m. to be picked up. Those wanting to leave with parents early to do Home Coming activities are allowed to do so, but need to fill out a Driver/Rider form in the main office and communicate this with coaching staff prior to Saturday. 

We will have a Team Dinner Tuesday night at the Cove Pond at 6:00 p.m. and will be hosted by the Burningham, Schmidt, Loveridge, Tenney, and Peterson families.  Athletes can bring $2 to contribute.

Thanks to the Butler, Garvin, Jarvis, Ballard, and Andersen families for hosting our team dinner last week!  Also, thanks to all of the parents who brought or sent treats to either of the meets, and especially to those who traveled to come support!
