State Championships will be held on Wednesday this week at Salt Lake Regional Sports Complex (2280 N. Rose Park Lane).
Our Girls will race at 4:00 p.m. and our Boys at 4:30 p.m..
Bus will leave the HS at 2:10 p.m. We will only be taking one bus, so we will have space for a few extras on the bus, and that priority will go to those who have been at practice regularly and would like to come cheer. Everyone else is welcome to come cheer, and we would love to have you join us, but you will need to make arrangements on your own.
Spectator info will be posted at the bottom of this post.
We will have a small team dinner on Tuesday for State participants, alternates, and coaches at 6:00 p.m. . Info will be sent out through the team captains to those invited.
Foot Locker has been picked up by Eastbay and will essentially be the same thing. If we can get the trip approved by the District this week, we would like to go to California to this meet. HERE is a link to a survey, if you would like to go please answer the 3 questions on the link. We need a pretty solid yes. The more athletes the better for cost (i.e. if we have 43 athlete going vs is 33 athletes the bus would cost around $30 less per athlete etc.). Please fill out this form even if you answered the poll on the groupme. See the Eastbay page above to get an idea of cost, it at least has the costs from 2 years ago when we went last. Disneyland would cost about $104 vs $50-$60 with an occasional extra discount, and would make it so we went Wednesday - Saturday instead.
There is a JV State Championship that is being held on Saturday October 30th at the Spanish Fork Sports Complex. If those who alternates and others who have been training would like to run at this let Coach Barnes know Monday and we will see about registration and covering the entry fees.
