Great job by those who have been out on a regular basis, we are already seeing big improvements. Keep at it! Those not coming regularly need to really try to make sure you are running on your own at least 5 days a week.
Please get your mileage reported ASAP! This should be done as soon as you have completed your last run for the week. Mileage Teams are up and can be found on the link on the Coaches Contact page above. Email a screen shot of your weekly strava total to your assigned coach. If this is not done by Wednesday it will be counted as a 0 for the week, so get it reported right away. Report your previous week if you have missed reporting it.
Again, we would highly encourage you all to start running road races this summer when you get a chance, 5ks and even 10ks are great, no half marathons. With Covid starting to settle a bit there are more races popping back up. Get on Utah Running or Runnercard or just search for races in different areas. Most towns will do a 5k or some race with their celebrations. Deseret News on July 23rd has a code (DN_HS21) for high schoolers that will work for the 5k or 10k and give 25% off.
This week we will do two canyon runs, both Yellow Fork and Butterfield canyons. Meet at the mouth of these canyons. The rest of the week will be at Monarch Meadows.
