School Starts, August 24-29

It was so nice to get the season underway and get some races under out feet last week!  We have along way to go, but did well at the same time.  It was great to see many of our athletes learning to push themselves and improve their races and times.  School is starting and we will have a full week of practice this week, and expect athletes to be at practice and ready to work.  

Freshmen might want to get a carpool home instead of riding the buses to make sure they are able to get to practice on time.  Those who work need to arrange schedules so that you can always be at practice and get the full workout in.

Athletes need to make sure they are hydrating well, eating good, and eating enough food everyday before and after practice.  This is very important!  Make sure you have a water bottle with you and are drinking plenty during the day at school.  Take healthy snacks with you everyday that you can eat during school.  

The weather will be hot this week!  The air quality is supposed to gradually get better in the next few days.  Those that have breathing issues might need to take extra precautions if needed. 

We have a team dinner on Friday at 14134 Lowe Peak Circle, Riverton) at 6:00pm.  This will be put on by the Waite, Jorgensen, Price, and Horsley families.  Athletes are encouraged to bring $2 to contribute.

Friday - Rosecrest Park @ 3:30 p.m.

Saturday - Wildcat Invite at Woods Cross High. Buses will leave at 5:45 a.m.

Spectators should social distance and wear a mask when appropriate, especially while in the stadium.
