Banquet
Friday November 15 at 6:00pm in the High School Tech Atrium.   We will do an assigned Potluck for dinner this year.  HERE is the link to sign up to bring something as well as RSVP, please do this ASAP. 
We are asking for only athletes and parents to attend, unless there is a special circumstance and this should be cleared with the coaching staff.  It will be formal dress for athletes (i.e. Boys in a shirt and tie and Girls in a dress or skirt) and nice casual for parents.  More info to come.

Foot Locker
Those going to Foot Locker need to get your money paid ASAP.  If you are doing some fundraising we can give you another week or a bit more.  The $295 needs to be paid into the XC account at Mountain Ridge, that can't make it in can ask the ladies in the office to put in on Skyward.  Magic Mountain (Six Flags) was the park voted for by all of those who voted last week.  Cost is $50 and will need to be paid by Monday November 25.  We still have some spots available if any other athletes would like to join us.
Parent Permission and Parent Information forms will be passed out to athletes at practice this week and at the banquet if needed.  These need to be turned back into Coach Barnes by November 25. 

Please get registered for your race at Foot Locker ASAP.  You will need to register before November 16th to avoid the entrance fee from doubling in price from $20 to $40 and so we can be registered as a group.  You should register for your age race (i.e. if you are a Sophomore boy then register for the Sophomore boy's race).  Also, you need to put down Coach Barnes as your group leader on your registration so we can pick packets up all together.  Please see the Foot Locker Page above for this info and the link to registration. 

Davis Pre-Nike meet is Wednesday at Layton Park west across the street from Layton High.  We would highly recommend those who are able to go to carpool up and race.  We don't have many opportunities to race right now, so we should take advantage of the few we have.  The cost is $1 and it will be one race boys and girls combined and chip timed.  Parents might need to check their athletes out of school a bit early to make it up to Layton.  Coach Barnes will need to know who is able to run by practice Monday to get you registered.  We recommend you get to the park just after 3:00pm to have time to take care of registration and to get a good warm up in.
